FC Dallas is a professional soccer club based in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, competing in Major League Soccer (MLS) as part of the Western Conference.
Founded in 1995 as the Dallas Burn, the team was one of MLS’s original charter clubs, beginning play in 1996.
The club adopted the name FC Dallas in 2004 and has since established itself as a key player in American soccer.
