Instagram (2016-2022) Logo PNG + Vector

Instagram was created by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger, and launched in October 2010 as a free mobile app. The service was acquired by Facebook in April 2012 for approximately US$1 billion in cash and stock. In 2013, Instagram grew by 23%, while Facebook, as the parent company, only grew by 3%.

On May 11 – 2016, Instagram ditched its original polaroid-styled logo in favor of a modern interpretation. The new look was accompanied by an update of the application’s interface.

Instagram introduced a new logo on May 16, 2022, shortly after the sixth anniversary of the previous icon’s introduction. The colors are more saturated than in the 2016 logo. Additionally, a new brand typeface named Instagram Sans was introduced in multiple styles, to be used in Reels and Stories.
