The 2026 AFC U-23 Asian Cup is the seventh edition of Asia’s premier under-23 men’s international football tournament, organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).

The competition features 16 national teams and is open to players born on or after 1 January 2003. The tournament takes place from 6 to 24 January 2026 and is hosted by Saudi Arabia, which was also selected to host the 2027 AFC Asian Cup.

Qualification was held in September 2025, with Kyrgyzstan and Lebanon reaching the final tournament for the first time. The 2026 edition is notable as the final non-Olympic AFC U-23 Asian Cup, before the competition transitions to a quadrennial format. Japan enter the tournament as the defending champions, following their victory over Uzbekistan in the previous final.
