To distinguish itself from competitors, Activision introduced a brightly colored logo that reflected the company’s creative and innovative identity. The design featured the Activision wordmark in a bold black typeface, closely resembling the logo style still recognized today.

One of the most distinctive elements was the enlarged “V,” with extended lines connecting to the “T” and stretching across the lettering to cover the dots of the “I” characters. The logo was also accompanied by rainbow-colored bars positioned beside the “A,” symbolizing the brand’s creativity, diversity, and focus on producing visually engaging video games.
