Air Corsica, officially Compagnie Aérienne Corse Méditerranée S.A.E.M., is the flag carrier airline of Corsica, a French insular region.
Founded on January 1, 1989, by Pierre Philippe Ceccaldi to enhance flight connectivity to Corsica, it commenced operations in June 1990 as Compagnie Corse Méditerranée, later rebranded as CCM Airlines, and subsequently Air Corsica.
