United Airlines logo used since 2010
In May 2010, United’s parent UAL Corporation announced its imminent merger with Continental Airlines. Initially, the entities remained separate, with United continuing to use the slant U logo.
The logo and livery was presented with the merger on May 3 and keeps most aspects of Continental’s Lippincott & Margulies-designed 1992 identity, save for the United name.
