ANZUK was a joint military force established by Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom to defend the Asia-Pacific region following the UK’s withdrawal from east of Suez in the early 1970s.
Formed in Singapore on November 1, 1971, under Rear Admiral David Wells, the force was disbanded on January 31, 1974.
