The Atlanta Dream are a professional basketball team based in the Atlanta metropolitan area, competing in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) as part of the Eastern Conference. Founded in 2008, the team is owned by Larry Gottesdiener, Suzanne Abair, and former Dream player Renee Montgomery. While they share the Atlanta market with the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks, the Dream are not affiliated with them. Their home games are played at Gateway Center Arena in College Park, Georgia.
