Bob’s, Brazil’s pioneering fast food chain, was founded in 1952 by American-Brazilian tennis champion Bob Falkenburg, the 1948 Wimbledon winner.
Its first location opened in Rio de Janeiro’s Copacabana neighborhood, marking the start of a Brazilian fast food legacy. In 1972, Falkenburg sold the franchise to the Brazilian Fast Food Corporation (BFFC).
