Bottega Veneta was founded in 1966 in Vicenza, Veneto, by Michele Taddei and Renzo Zengiaro. Its Intrecciato leather-weaving was an instant hit. After the company was purchased by the Gucci Group in 2001, a new “stealth wealth” pulse revived Bottega Veneta.
