Budweiser is an American-style pale lager first introduced in 1876 in St. Louis, Missouri.
Known for its light, crisp taste, the beer is brewed using hops, barley malt, and rice, and is available on draft as well as in bottles and cans.
Today, Budweiser is produced and distributed globally as part of the AB InBev portfolio and remains one of the best-selling beers in the United States.
The brand is also well known for its long-running trademark disputes with the Czech brewery Budweiser Budvar over the use of the “Budweiser” name. As a result, naming rights vary by market, and in some countries the Anheuser-Busch product is sold under the shortened name “Bud”.
