Originally founded as Club Deportivo Burgos Club de FĂștbol in 1985 after the dissolution of the original Burgos CF in 1983 due to insolvency following its 1980 relegation from La Liga, the club began competing in 1994.
Currently, Burgos CF plays in the Segunda DivisiĂłn, Spainâs second-tier football league, and is known for its resilient fanbase and regional pride.
