Cheerios is a breakfast cereal brand made from oats shaped into small rings, originally developed by General Mills in the United States.

First introduced in 1941, the cereal was initially called CheeriOats before being renamed Cheerios in 1945 following a trademark dispute. Known for its simple ingredients and long-standing presence in households, Cheerios has become one of the most recognizable cereal brands worldwide. While produced by General Mills in the U.S. and Canada, it is marketed in Europe by Cereal Partners under the Nestlé brand, and sold in Australia and New Zealand as an Uncle Tobys product.
