The Denmark national football team (Danish: Danmarks herre-fodboldlandshold or herrelandsholdet) represents Denmark and Greenland in men’s international football. Governed by the Danish Football Association (DBU), the team plays its home matches at Parken Stadium in Copenhagen’s Østerbro district.

Denmark has a rich footballing history, first making its mark by winning the 1906 Intercalated Games and earning silver medals at both the 1908 and 1912 Olympic Games. For much of the 20th century, Denmark maintained an amateur status, preventing its players from turning professional abroad—resulting in its first FIFA World Cup appearance only in 1986. Despite this, Denmark earned another Olympic silver medal in 1960 and has since become one of Europe’s most competitive and respected national teams.
