German Football Association (DFB) is the official governing body for football, futsal, and beach soccer in Germany. It oversees the German football league system and manages both the men’s and women’s national teams.

Founded as one of the original members of FIFA and UEFA, the DFB plays a central role in European and international football. Based in Frankfurt am Main, the association works alongside the German Football League (DFL), which runs the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga, as well as regional and state associations responsible for semi-professional and amateur football. The DFB is recognized as the world’s largest sports federation by membership.
