Dos Equis is a Mexican beer brand introduced in 1897 by German-born brewer Wilhelm Hasse in Veracruz, Mexico.
Originally named Siglo XX to celebrate the approaching 20th century, the brand became known for its distinctive double-X logo. Now part of Heineken‘s portfolio, Dos Equis offers several lager varieties, including Ambar Especial and Lager Especial, and is recognized for its “The Most Interesting Man in the World” advertising campaign.
