Google Street View is a street-level imaging technology integrated into Google Maps and Google Earth. It allows users to explore locations through interactive panoramic photographs captured along roads, streets, and public places around the world.

First launched in 2007 in several U.S. cities, the service later expanded globally. Street View imagery is captured using specially equipped vehicles and other platforms such as tricycles, boats, and handheld systems to document streets, landmarks, and remote locations.
