Guns Nā Roses is an American hard rock band formed in 1985 in Los Angeles, California, emerging from members of the groups L.A. Guns and Hollywood Rose. After signing with Geffen Records in 1986, the band established its classic lineup with Axl Rose, Slash, Izzy Stradlin, Duff McKagan, and Steven Adler.
Known for a raw sound that blended hard rock, punk attitude, and blues influences, Guns Nā Roses went on to become one of the most influential rock bands of their era, helping define late-1980s and early-1990s rock music.
