The Iceland Men’s National Football Team, founded in 1947, represents Iceland in international men’s football.
Controlled by the Football Association of Iceland (KSĂŤ), the team joined FIFA in 1947 and UEFA in 1957.
Nicknamed “Strákarnir okkar” (Our Boys), Iceland gained global recognition for its remarkable Euro 2016 quarter-final run, defeating England in the process.
