The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is a global standardized test for English proficiency, established in 1989. It is jointly managed by the British Council, IDP, and Cambridge English. IELTS offers two modules: Academic and General Training. In 2023, the IELTS One Skill Retake was introduced for computer-based tests, allowing candidates to retake a single section.
