Jindal Steel Limited (JSL) is an Indian steel company headquartered in New Delhi and part of the OP Jindal Group.

It is one of the country’s largest private steel producers and the only private company in India that manufactures railway rails. JSL produces a wide range of steel products, including sponge iron, slabs, structural steel, hot-rolled plates, coils, and iron ore pellets.

The company is also known for developing the world’s first MXCOL plant in Angul, Odisha, which converts locally sourced high-ash coal into synthesis gas for steel production, reducing reliance on imported coking coal.
