MagicGate Vector Logo + PNG Files
MagicGate is a Sony copy-protection technology introduced in 1999 as part of the Secure Digital Music Initiative.
The system used encryption and dedicated MagicGate chips in compatible storage devices and readers to control how digital files could be copied. It was used in Sony audio players, Memory Stick products, and PlayStation 2 memory cards.
