Professional Fighters League (PFL) is an American mixed martial arts (MMA) organization founded in 2017 by venture capitalist Donn Davis after the acquisition and restructuring of the World Series of Fighting (WSOF) by MMAX Investment Partners.
Launched in 2018, the PFL introduced a unique format to MMA: fighters compete in a regular season, playoffs, and championship, similar to traditional sports leagues.
