Picasa Logo in Vector

Picasa was a cross-platform image organizer and viewer for managing and editing digital photos, initially developed by Lifescape, a company incubated by Idealab, in 2002.
The name “Picasa” combines “Picasso” (after Spanish painter Pablo Picasso), “casa” (Spanish for house), and “pic” (for pictures).
Acquired by Google in July 2004 and offered as freeware, Picasa included a now-defunct photo-sharing website. Google discontinued Picasa Desktop and Picasa Web Albums on March 15, 2016, shifting focus to Google Photos as its cloud-based successor.
