The Pitbull Syndrome, later renamed Midway Studios – Newcastle Limited, was a British video game developer based in Gateshead, England. Founded in December 1996, it specialized in racing games, including titles like L.A. Rush and several in the Test Drive series. Acquired by Midway Games in October 2005, the studio was closed in July 2009 following Midway’s bankruptcy.
