The Slovakia national football team represents Slovakia in international men’s football and is governed by the Slovak Football Association (SFZ). Since Slovakia became an independent nation in 1993, the team has established itself as a regular competitor in European and world football competitions.

The team plays its home matches at the Tehelné pole in Bratislava. Before Slovak independence, Slovak players primarily competed as part of the former Czechoslovakia national team.

Slovakia has qualified for several major international tournaments, including the 2010 FIFA World Cup and UEFA European Championships in 2016, 2020, and 2024. Their most notable achievement came at the 2010 FIFA World Cup, where they advanced to the Round of 16 after defeating the defending champions Italy.
