Royal Charleroi Sporting Club, often simply known as Charleroi or Sporting Charleroi is a Belgian professional football club based in Charleroi, competing in the Pro League since 2012–13. Founded in 1904, they first reached the top division in 1947–48, with their best finish as runners-up in 1968–69. Charleroi has also reached the Belgian Cup final twice, in 1978 and 1993.
