Sýn, founded in 1998 as Íslandssími (“Iceland Telephone“), is an Icelandic telecommunications and mass media company headquartered in Reykjavík, Iceland.

Initially launched as the first competitor to the state-owned Landssíminn in the telephone market, Sýn has grown to offer mobile, broadband, and television services, alongside media operations including television channels and digital platforms.

Rebranded as Sýn in 2017 after merging with Vodafone Iceland, the company is a leading player in Iceland’s telecom and media sectors, known for innovation and comprehensive service offerings.
