University of Liverpool Vector Logo
The University of Liverpool (UOL) is a public research university located in Liverpool, England.
It was founded in 1881 as University College Liverpool and became a constituent college of the federal Victoria University in 1884. In 1903, the institution was granted a royal charter by King Edward VII, giving it the authority to award its own degrees independently.
