Toys for Tots is a charitable program organized by the United States Marine Corps Reserve that provides toys to children from families unable to afford Christmas gifts. Founded in 1947 by Marine reservist Major Bill Hendricks, the program has since become one of America’s most recognized and enduring holiday charities, symbolizing generosity and community spirit.

The program is supported by the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, a non-profit organization based in Triangle, Virginia, which manages fundraising and coordination efforts nationwide. Beyond the United States, a Canadian branch operates in London, Ontario, run by veterans and active members of the Canadian Armed Forces, continuing the mission of spreading hope and joy during the holiday season.
