Uniroyal is an American tire brand known for manufacturing tires for passenger cars, trucks, SUVs, and other vehicles. The company was originally founded in 1892 as the United States Rubber Company in Naugatuck, Connecticut, and later adopted the Uniroyal name as part of a unified brand identity in 1961.
The brand became widely recognized for products such as the Tiger Paw tire line. In 1990, Uniroyal was acquired by Michelin, and today the brand continues as part of Michelin’s tire portfolio in North America.
