Bank of New Zealand (BNZ), established in October 1861, is one of New Zealand’s four major banks, headquartered in Auckland.

Since 1992, it has been owned by National Australia Bank (NAB) but maintains local governance through a New Zealand board of directors. BNZ offers a wide range of financial services, including retail, business, and institutional banking.

The former Bank of New Zealand in Australia (BNZA) is now fully integrated into NAB’s operations.
