Dassault Aviation is a French aerospace company specializing in the design and manufacturing of military aircraft and business jets. The company is known for aircraft such as the Rafale fighter jet and the Falcon family of business jets.

Founded in 1929 by Marcel Bloch as Société des Avions Marcel Bloch, the company was later renamed after Bloch adopted the name Marcel Dassault following World War II. In 1971, it acquired Breguet and eventually became Dassault Aviation, operating today as part of the Dassault Group.
