The Greater Western Sydney Giants, commonly known as the GWS Giants, are a professional Australian rules football club based in Western Sydney, New South Wales. The team competes in the Australian Football League (AFL) and represents the rapidly growing Western Sydney region.

Founded in 2009, the club joined the AFL in the 2012 season as the league’s 18th team. The Giants play most of their home matches at Sydney Showground Stadium in Sydney Olympic Park and also host several games each season at Manuka Oval in Canberra. The club has since developed into a competitive AFL side, reaching its first Grand Final in 2019.
