Hulu  is a popular American streaming service owned by Disney Streaming, a division of The Walt Disney Company. Launched on October 29, 2007, it originally operated as a joint venture between News Corporation (later 21st Century Fox) and NBC Universal (now Comcast), with later investments from AT&T’s WarnerMedia, Providence Equity, and Disney.

Initially, Hulu provided recent TV episodes from its owners’ networks. In 2010, it introduced a subscription plan, Hulu Plus, offering full seasons and early access to new episodes. Expanding further, Hulu with Live TV launched in 2017, delivering live broadcast channels through an over-the-top streaming service.
