Porotech is a UK-based semiconductor technology company spun out from the University of Cambridge, originating from the Cambridge Centre for Gallium Nitride within the Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy.

The company specializes in a unique porous gallium nitride (GaN) material platform, developed through proprietary production methods and protected intellectual property. This technology enables tunable material properties and new device functionalities not achievable with conventional GaN.
