Founded in 1972 by Shin Kato as Sigma Automotive, it became an independent company in 1985 specializing in motorsport engineering and high-performance aftermarket parts for Toyota vehicles.
SARD is best known for its participation in the Super GT series and its expertise in Toyota tuning.
