Urawa Red Diamonds, commonly known as Urawa Reds, is a professional football club based in Saitama, part of the Greater Tokyo Area, Japan.
Founded in 1950 as Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Soccer Club, it was renamed Mitsubishi Urawa Football Club from 1992 to 1996 before adopting its current name.
Competing in the J1 League, Japan’s top-tier football league, Urawa Reds play home matches at Saitama Stadium 2002.
