Yokohama F. Marinos (横浜F・マリノス), founded in 1972 as Nissan Motor Football Club, is a Japanese professional football club based in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, within the Greater Tokyo Area.
Competing in the J1 League, Japan’s top-tier football league, the club plays home matches at Nissan Stadium. Renamed Yokohama Marinos in 1992 and later Yokohama F. Marinos after merging with Yokohama Flügels in 1999, it is known for its blue, white, and red kit and passionate supporters.
