Al Ahly Sporting Club ( النادي الأهلي للرياضة البدنية), is an Egyptian professional sports club based in Cairo. It is one of the most successful football clubs in the world based on total trophies won. Its professional football team plays in the Egyptian Premier League, the top tier in the Egyptian football league system.

The club was founded on 24 April 1907, as a gathering place for Cairo’s Student Unions.
