LIV Golf is a professional golf tour funded by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund.
The name “LIV” refers to the Roman numeral for 54, symbolizing a perfect score of birdieing every hole on a par-72 course and the number of holes played in LIV events.
The inaugural LIV Golf Invitational Series event began on June 9, 2022, at the Centurion Club near London, England.
