Manitoba Moose is a professional ice hockey team based in Winnipeg, Canada, competing in the American Hockey League (AHL) as the primary affiliate of the NHL’s Winnipeg Jets.
The team plays its home games at Canada Life Centre. The franchise originated in 1994 as the Minnesota Moose before relocating to Winnipeg, later spending several seasons in St. John’s as the IceCaps, and ultimately returning to Winnipeg in 2015.
The Moose has a long-standing role in developing players for the Jets and contributing to the regional hockey culture.
