Gençlerbirliği Spor Kulübü is a multi-sport club based in Ankara, Turkey, best known for its men’s professional football team.

Founded on 14 March 1923 by students of Ankara Erkek Lisesi, the club emerged as a symbol of youthful independence after its founders were excluded from their school team.

Gençlerbirliği has since become a well-established name in Turkish football, traditionally competing in the Süper Lig and playing home matches at Eryaman Stadium.

Known by nicknames such as Ankara Rüzgârı (“Wind of Ankara”) and Gençler (“The Youth”), the club is recognized for its red and black colors and strong local identity.
