Starlux Airlines is a Taiwanese full-service carrier headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan, operating from its hub at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport.

Founded by Chang Kuo-wei, it launched its first flight from Taipei to Macau on January 23, 2020.

The name “Starlux” derived from the Chinese characters “星宇” (star and universe), reflects the legacy of Chang’s father, Evergreen Group founder Chang Yung-fa, who navigated by stars, and Chang Kuo-wei’s ambition to reach boundless heights in aviation.
